Position is assigned to the Marketing Office under the supervision and direction of the Marketing Director.
Responsible for creating, editing, publishing, administering, and removing website, app, and social media content. Develops on-going social media strategy for 31FSS and subsequent facilities to promote engagement with community members and maintain meaningful connections.
Maintains a consistent brand voice, driving consistent relevant traffic to FSS social profiles and website. Runs regular social media or web-based campaigns and tracks success/strategy with analytical reporting. Assists with: developing and implementing marketing programs for the 31st Force Support Squadron (FSS); determining marketing techniques and strategies to increase efficiency, enhance-participation and increase-financial income to FSS activities; developing content for all customer-facing formats currently run by Marketing, including website, app, and social media and assists with general administrative functions.
Manages multiple versions of content, designs and implements new technology, touchpoints, recommends solutions for customers, and performs web search data analysis and maintains content management system to track and plan strategic marketing online. Executes the 31 FSS brand through messaging, copy, graphic video and promotional content to be distributed online. Reviews copy, graphics, advertisements, and links to ensure quality and proper branding of websites. Provides or arranges for photographic support for FSS functions. Works with base agencies governing web, content/security to ensure all Air Force and Federal regulations are met. Will be driving between different facilities located on Aviano Air Base to obtain content and perform duties. May be required to attend events and programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have progressively responsible experience and skill in multi-channel marketing to include internet, social media, web content development, writing, and publishing promotional content for the web. Active practitioner of social media and networking platforms and tools including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and their respective participants. Must possess a broad understanding of web-based trends and technologies. Must have formalized training in web development and design. Experience using publishing tools across large websites. Experience with Joomla or other similar content management systems. Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills. Must have ability to multi-task and work under pressure with minimal supervision. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, with ability to work in a wide range of resource types and levels in a very fast paced environment. Working knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office applications, including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with photography, and videography is preferred.
COE: Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Must have a valid driver’s license.
