The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Communications in all matters relating to media and public relations, E-commerce, social medias, advertising, collateral, direct mail, promotions and other marketing communications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all direct and digital marketing – direct mail, e-Newsletter/e-DM, social media, website and customer acquisition and retention
- Manage the hotel branding, strategic marketing, collateral and promotional campaigns
- Development of advertising campaign to promote the hotel
- Ensure adherence to corporate identity or guidelines
- Marketing the Hotel’s on line presence, including search engine optimization, pay per click, TripAdvisor and other online efforts.
- Develop marketing partners for joint programmes and promotions including airlines, credit card, companies and deluxe retailers/brands
- Develop, maintain and manage annual marketing budget
Requirement on Core Competencies
Job Requirements:
- Three to five years experience as a Marketing / E-Commerce Manager
- Experience in Sales/Marketing/Front Office required
- Ability to evaluate concepts and opportunities outside the norms ( a visionary)
- Data Collection – Tracking denials, regrets, impact on constraints, market demand, competitive information to allow insight into forecasting etc.,
- Understands the principles of Revenue Management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Computer literate.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Understands the hotels business mix needs and the “brand”
- Self-confidence, energetic and enthusiastic.
- Ability to present ideas in a well-organised manner.
- Effective time management, communication and presentation skills to leverage input from revenue management team.
- Understands the “life time value” concept of our customer.
- High energy level, self-motivated, articulate and presentable.
