The candidate will join the Cappellini PR&Brand Communication function and will be involved in all the Communication activities.
Main activities:
He/she will actively support the Art Director & Brand Communication Manager by:
– manage the daily activity of press review, both digital and paper version
– sending press material to the media
– writing press releases after the briefing from the Art Director
– prepare the press kits for the event (collection of pictures and press releases in different languages)
– coordinate external PR agencies
– follow the products’ shooting requests
– write several texts (newsletter and other communication material)
– create and update the press mailing list in accordance with the privacy laws
– send events e-vites to the press
– monitor and analyze direct competitors editorials
– keep up-to-date and improve internal reporting (e.g. special projects, best editorials, etc)
– implement communication strategies through multiple channels
– manage event planning and public relations management, from initial concept to execution to post-activity analysis
– collaborate with Marketing department to develop marketing material to build awareness in the industry and attract prospective clients
– plan and pitch editorial/writing assignments with outside agencies
Experience and Education:
– the ideal candidate is a brilliant student in Public Relations, Communications or Journalism, similar academic background will be evaluated;
– at least 2-3 years experience in the Marketing and/or Communication field, with focus on design.
Technical and Soft skills:
– fluent English is mandatory;
– second language is a plus (French);
– literate in MS Office suite is required;
– Strong written and verbal communication skills;
– Excellent organizational skills;
– Business trip availability;
– Reliability and accuracy.
